Also known as the morgue. Bodies were interned here until the ground thawed in the spring and they could be given a proper burial. Built in 1905, it was doubled in size and converted into living quarters for non-commissioned officers in 1930. You can see the transition in brick on the side of the building, marking the line between the original construction and new.
